James T. Walker M.D., D.A.B.R.

Dr.Walker is a Board Certified Radiologist who has been in private practice on Long Island since 1983.  Dr Walker is a graduate of New York Medical College, Valhalla, New York, 1978.  He completed an internship in OB/GYN and Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital in 1978, and a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Nassau University Medical Center in 1982.  He went on to finish a Fellowship in Ultrasound and Body CT imaging at Hahnemann University Hospital in 1983.  Dr. Walker has been published in a peer-reviewed journal and has had work exhibited at a national medical symposium.  He has previously volunteered his time as an Assistant Attending in the Department of Radiology at Nassau University Medical Center where he was involved in the teaching of radiology residents.  Dr. Walker has been a member of the ACR since 1983.  He is currently a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), Society of Breast Imaging, Long Island Radiology Society, Nassau County Medical Society, New York State Medical Society and the Radiologic Society of North America.  He lives with his wife and three children in Huntington, NY.
